Service Description
COURSE OVERVIEW: Overview of the different neurodivergent processing differences e.g. Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Common misconceptions and stereotypes. Associated challenges and strengths. Potential impact on mental health and general wellbeing. What line managers can do to support their neurodivergent colleagues and the benefits to both the individual and employer. FORMAT: 3.5 hour interactive workshop, online or on-site BENEFITS FOR LINE MANAGERS: Better understanding of how they can support their neurodivergent team member(s). What other support is available and where they can signpost their neurodivergent team member(s) to for further support. Learn how to better maximise the potential of your neurodivergent team member(s). Learn how to improve communication between yourself and your neurodivergent team member(s). BENEFITS FOR ORGANISATION Increased awareness of neurodiverse talents/strengths More effective and productive teams. A better understanding of what some of your clients/customers may need. Likely to prevent performance issues – time/cost involved in managing this process. Able to attract and retain neurodiverse talent. This training will be delivered in collaboration with Neurodiversity Works Limited.
